Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Visit Verificator — the web admin console, visitor dashboard (web and Android), and mobile app (together, the "Service"). By creating an organization, signing in as an administrator, or checking in as a visitor, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who These Terms Apply To

Visit Verificator is offered to organizations ("Customers") that register to manage their own visitor reception. Within a Customer's organization, people may hold different roles: administrators (who configure the organization and view visitor logs), receptionists (who assist walk-in visitors), and visitors or couriers (who check in at a visitor dashboard without creating an account).

2. Accounts and Organizations

An administrator account is tied to one organization. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Organizations are responsible for the accuracy of the branding, settings, and visitor information they configure, and for managing who on their team has administrator or receptionist access.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Don't use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to collect information about visitors beyond what's needed to manage your reception.
  • Don't attempt to access another organization's data, visitor dashboards, or accounts.
  • Don't circumvent, disable, or interfere with identity verification (one-time codes), visitor dashboard pairing, or other security features.
  • Don't use the Service to harass, defame, or discriminate against visitors or staff.

4. Visitor Data Responsibility

As between Visit Verificator and a Customer, the Customer determines what visitor information is collected at their visitor dashboard and why (for example, to meet their own site-safety or compliance needs). Visit Verificator acts as a service provider that stores and processes this information on the Customer's behalf. Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect visitor information and for responding to visitor requests about their own data, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

5. Availability and Changes to the Service

Visit Verificator is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and we'll try to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We recommend organizations keep a manual fallback process for reception in case a visitor dashboard is temporarily unavailable.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Visit Verificator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including any reliance on visitor logs, notifications, or visitor dashboard availability for safety or security purposes.

7. Termination

An organization may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these Terms, including attempts to access data outside an organization's own account.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
